Explore Stara Planina on a three-day enduro tour in Bulgaria, based in Gabrovo. Your five-day trip includes three guided riding days, four hotel nights, motorcycles, fuel, meals and airport transfers.

Your five-day itinerary
Spend three days exploring the Balkan Mountains with local guides, returning to your Gabrovo accommodation each evening. Arrival and departure days make this a five-day holiday, so allow time for transfers when arranging travel.
Day 1: Arrival in Gabrovo
Arrival at Sofia Airport and transfer to your accommodation in Gabrovo, located at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain.
Day 2: First trail ride
Breakfast at 08:00, riding gear and paperwork at 10:00, then warm up the bikes and head for trails selected for you. Lunch is around 13:00 and the ride usually finishes at the hotel around 17:00, depending on your preference and stamina.
Days 3 & 4: Mountain riding
Another day, another challenge. After breakfast, leave with the bikes around 10:00. Ride mountain trails chosen for your ability, stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then return to the hotel for spa time. The final riding day ends with a thank-you dinner.
Day 5: Return transfer
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by your transfer back to Sofia Airport for your flight home.

The riding season is open from the beginning of March until the middle of December.
Food
Breakfast and dinner are at the hotel. Lunch is served at typical taverns or small restaurants in the forest—and riding gear is welcome.
Accommodation
Our usual accommodation is Hotel “St. Vasilii Veliki” in Gabrovo. Guests stay in double rooms. We may change the hotel depending on availability or the regional weather forecast; requested changes may carry an additional charge.

*Before travelling, you must arrange standard tourist insurance for travel abroad in your home country or current country of residence.
Reservation deposit
The deposit is €200 per rider, payable by bank transfer, PayPal or Revolut. The remaining tour balance is paid upon arrival.

Riding gear and optional extras
Riding gear · €55/day
Bring your own riding gear or travel light and rent a complete set from us for €55 per person, per day.
Bike insurance · €45/day
Optional damage insurance costs €45 per riding day, per bike—€135 for this tour. It covers external plastics and peripheral parts damaged during normal tour use, but not engine damage caused by abusive riding.
Without insurance, a refundable €300 deposit is required. Repair costs for any damage are deducted and the remainder returned.
Cancellation policy
The reservation deposit is non-refundable. You may use it to reschedule a new tour or transfer it to another person.
