Cookie Policy
Understanding website cookies, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel — and your choices about optional tracking.
1. About this Cookie Policy
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on enduro-ride.com. Enduro-Ride plans to use Google Analytics 4 for website measurement and Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram advertising. The descriptions below apply when those services are enabled and you consent to the relevant category.
The website is operated by Enduro-Ride LTD, Stefan Karadzha 3, Gabrovo 5300, Bulgaria. For cookie or privacy questions, email enduroridebg@gmail.com.
2. What cookies and pixels do
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. They can remember preferences or recognise a browser across visits. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends; persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted.
A tracking pixel is code that can send information about a page visit or an action to its provider. It may work with cookies or other identifiers. Blocking cookies alone does not necessarily prevent a pixel from sending data.
3. Cookie categories and your choice
Strictly necessary
These support functions such as security and remembering your consent choice. They are not used for advertising. Their exact names and lifetimes depend on the website and consent tools in use.
Analytics — optional
Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit, how they reach the site and how they interact with tour information.
Marketing — optional
Meta Pixel helps measure advertising results and build audiences for relevant Facebook and Instagram ads.
Analytics and marketing should remain inactive until you make the corresponding consent choice. You can decline optional tracking and still browse tours and send a reservation enquiry. Continued browsing is not consent.
4. Google Analytics 4
With analytics consent, Google Analytics can collect browser identifiers, page addresses, referral information, device and browser details, and configured interaction events. We use reports to understand website use and improve tour information and navigation.
The planned standard cookies are _ga, which distinguishes browsers, and _ga_<container-id>, which maintains session state. Google documents a default expiration of two years for each. Site settings, renewed visits and browser restrictions can change the effective lifetime.
Cookie lifetime is separate from the retention of information in Analytics reports. See Google’s GA4 cookie documentation and Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Meta Pixel and Facebook advertising
With marketing consent, Meta Pixel is intended to help us measure visits and selected actions after someone sees or clicks an ad, understand campaign performance and reach audiences interested in Enduro-Ride tours.
Pixel events may include the page visited, time of the event, browser and device information, network information such as an IP address, and cookie or advertising identifiers. Meta may connect this information with activity on its services under its own policies.
Common identifiers associated with Meta Pixel include _fbp for browser recognition and _fbc for advertising-click attribution where applicable. The exact cookies and durations depend on the configuration and must be reflected in the website’s consent information when the Pixel launches.
Read Meta’s Cookies Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy. Advertising choices in your Meta account are separate from cookie consent on this website.
6. Planned cookie overview
This is a description of the planned tools, not a scan of cookies currently installed in your browser. Additional cookies may depend on enabled features and the selected consent platform.
| Cookie or service | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | Necessary | Remember accepted and rejected categories | Depends on consent platform |
| _ga | Analytics | Distinguish browsers | Google default: 2 years* |
| _ga_<container-id> | Analytics | Maintain session state | Google default: 2 years* |
| _fbp / _fbc | Marketing | Browser and ad-click attribution | Confirm in deployed configuration |
*Actual expiry can differ because of configuration, renewal or browser limits. The final consent notice should list the cookies actually used.
7. Managing and withdrawing consent
When optional tracking is enabled, the cookie banner must let you accept, reject or choose optional categories. A persistent cookie-settings control must allow you to revisit that choice and withdraw consent as easily as giving it.
Withdrawal applies to future consent-based tracking. It does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically erase information already received by a provider. For requests about personal data, see our Privacy Policy or contact us.
You can also use browser settings to view and delete cookies. Deleting cookies may remove saved preferences and cause the consent prompt to appear again. Browser blocking alone is not a replacement for the website’s consent controls.
8. Providers, data and international processing
When a consented tool runs, Google or Meta receives the information transmitted by that tool. These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Applicable transfer safeguards and provider terms must be in place for the configured services.
Cookie expiration does not necessarily delete provider-held event data. For more about data handling, retention criteria and your rights, read our Privacy Policy. Contact us for details about the providers and safeguards relevant to your information.
9. Updates and contact
We will update this policy as tools and settings change. The revision date appears above. Material new tracking purposes require appropriate information and consent before they are activated.
